Thanks everyone, I think I remember something said once about Jesus' birth being about 6 months after John the Baptist? Is there any knowledge as to when he is said to be born? I've got to go look something up on this. See what I can find.

I know that the year of Jesus' birth isn't know, but thought that the time of year was agreed on by most, so I made the mistake on another message board of saying that he was born about late Sept to early Oct, and I got blasted for it, which is why I asked here.

Nice of them to link a Biblical guarantee to a prophecy that is likely to fail.

There's dozens of these things advertising "WeCanKnow dot Com" all around where I work and live... On easy step to put more disrepute upon Christianity when this does not happen...

Thanks, Mercia. While I think what you say is true, I also think it's worth emphasising that the true church most often is a visible organisation, hence the many letter in the NT to 'the church in such-and-such a city' which met together.

If you are speaking to Christadelphians I would drop the word "church" completely.
