Disclaimer: he uncritically repeats the 'Dark Ages' myth, even to the extent of claiming that 'for 500 years there was essentially no progress in any scientific field or in human rights' (false; just read James Hannam's book) and 'scientific experimentation, and thus learning, was often illegal' (false; scientific experimentation was virtually non-existent in the first place thanks to the dominance of Aristotle's philosophy, and it was never illegal; see Hannam's book again).
Apart from that it's pretty good.
