Any recommended reading on Song of Solomon? We've got a study weekend this weekend led by Bro. Leen Ritmeyer and I would like to see how the song is typically split up by scholars.

Hi Jon
It's not a scholarly work but there's a book on Lulu.com by my bro in law Simon Fuller which may be of interest.

The Song of Solomon is a love song to the Messiah (God) from Israel. It identifies God as both male and female. Man ,he, him, father, son, and husband don't always mean male: but woman, she, her, mother, daughter, and wife always means female. Theres a lot of scripture to support this theory. God, the Messiah is not an hermaphrodite therefore God must be female. The serpent (part of Adam's anatomy is something that was created. Theres no sex in heaven because theres no procreation

These are extraordinary claims. On this forum extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. Do you have any support for them?
